DIRECTIONS:
Trealy Farm is reached via Red House Farm which is on the Groesonen Road between Raglan and Monmouth.
From South
Follow M4 to Newport Caldre roundabout then take A449 towards Midlands / Monmouth. Take 2nd exit off signposted Raglan / Abergavenny onto A40.
Cross over immediately in order to take 1st right towards Dingestow. You are now on the B4293 or Groesonen Road.
After about 4 miles pass Dingestow turn on left and Somerset Arms on right & then pass Cwmcarvan turn on right.
Take next right turn into Red House farm on the brow of the hill. See poplar trees lining the driveway & a bridleway sign. There is a little road to the left, opposite the entrance + a bus stop called Red House Stop. If you come to Square Farm on right you have gone too far.
After turning into Red House Farm - Follow the track through the farm yard (Please do NOT turn left into the house almost immediately (about 80 meters) after the Red House farm yard – no sign for this house exists). Continue past farm buildings on right and then through two fields until the track forks. This is a distance of about 0.5 miles - At the end of the second field, where the track forks, take the left fork, over the cattle grid. This has a sign ‘Trealy Farm’ and this is our (tarmac) driveway. This driveway goes up hill and Trealy Farm is at the top.
From north and east
Dual carriageway from M50 brings you to Monmouth.
You will come to a roundabout – go straight on.
Then through traffic lights (you will see a bridge on your left & town on your right).
Turn LEFT off dual carriageway at next turning signposted Mitchel Troy and Trelech.
At next junction turn left again.
Follow this road through Mitchel Troy village. After the village, the A40 is ahead but take the left turn off just before you reach it, signposted 'Dingestow' (important!).
Go past Square Farm on the left.
Take next left turn into Red House Farm, which is a driveway without any sign that can be seen from the road (other than a public footpath sign) until you actually turn into it. (If you get to a B Road on the left, signposted Cwmcarvan, you've missed it!). The entrance to Red House Farm is on the crest of a low hill and has a row of poplar trees lining the driveway. There is a little road to the right, opposite the entrance + a bus stop called Red House Stop.
